"If you can imagine the most random attributes of a person all smashed together, you probably get the picture. I'm an actor who listens to heavy metal while driving my tractor. I also sing random songs at very random times and love to dance. Basically, I'm slightly crazy, but love having a good time." [Facebook]
"I'm just a guy who loves music and desires to create something. I may not always get it right, but I know that whatever I make, I do it to the best of my abilities at that given point in time." [Soundcloud]
"To capture passion is an artist's dream. To harness that climax of overwhelming emotion. Channel it into a more tangible form. Then, at last, to convey it. All who experience it can feel the emotion…the power…the PASSION!
This is the job of the artist, and thus is my dream" [personal quote]
"There's certain shots that develop concepts that you think would look cool, certain shots that would technically and aesthetically look cool, certain shots that send a message that you think would be cool, and you use all of that to ask a big question that the audience is meant to interpret." [personal quote]
All of these have been used at one or another by me to describe either myself or what I do. I grew up in a small town of 600 in Illinois called Buckley. Actually, I grew up on a farm just outside of a small town of 600 in Illinois called Buckley. Needless to say, I am very familiar with the concepts of hard work, persistence, and determination. While it may be surprising that I ended up pursuing the dreams that I have, I must admit that, without that upbringing, I certainly would not be who I am today.
And just who is that? I will be soon be a graduate of Greenville College in Greenville, IL with a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication: Theatre. My recent exploits include a semester at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center in (you guessed it!) Los Angeles, CA. As can be seen from my choice of degrees, I have a passion for performance whether that means I am doing the performing or running any kind of tech for said performance. In fact, I view both of these as performance. Anything done or created for an audience is a type of performance. What is displayed on this side is a collection of some of my best works, so please feel free to browse at your leisure.
